Natural Light

Natural Light
Assignment: Open in the Natural Light studio (Ambient+)

We were supposed to shoot in Ambient Plus Studio for the class time. well we did but not what we were planning. this was for Natural Light class and as of monday evening the weather predicted rain all day. Since the shoot was already planned with the model, MUA, and the studio we decided to shoot anyway. Josh went over with us on how to use lights for a white seamless. much different than outside. it was great experience. everyone got 15 mins with the model and she did a great job! it was a lot of fun. and as you can tell it turned out not being "Open in the natural light studio" oh well

Color

So me and Ryan decided to shoot our Portrait/Color assignment inside the studio with a white seamless and strobes. Well according to the syllabus we were supposed to use natural window light. opps. so it was good practice.

Natural Light 2

so this is the second assignment from Natural Light. the assignment was to shoot in the shade. i don't really know anyone in canton/ball ground so I had to shoot myself. so i found a tree in a field and stood in the shade. here are the results:

Introduction to Photography 1

so the assignment: Isolation. (that was literally all he said.)

so here is what i finished with. (well at least until i take it in and see what he says).

this was the 3rd shoot i tried for it. i'm not very good at the "isolated" or "lonely" face haha

and this was the 2nd shoot for it. again... terrible at the isolation look.

this was the first one i turned in. he said it was to bright and cheery to be "isolated". i see his point.

so yea, let me know what you guys think!

Introduction to Photoshop 1

so this was for Introduction to Photoshop class. the assignment was to take 10 pictures and mask them together into one image that is realistic looking (aka no putting Obama eating dinner with dinos). this actually ended up being 12 pictures: 1-the background, 2-10-the car, 11-me, 12-my shadow. i think it came out pretty well :)

Here are a couple of pictures of Tim that we took during Natural Light class.
